Preparations for the next Career in M&A week in spring 2023 are already underway. Based on the feedback we received from the last event, we are currently adapting the concept again. Our goal is to make our event even more tailored to the participants than it already is. Even though we haven‘t had all the feedback conversations yet, we already want to share some changes with you that we know about. We will be introducing the following changes:
Our ambition is to attract more players from other European countries like France and the UK to our activity. For this purpose, we will not only directly approach more selected smaller universities, but also regional partners as potential employers. In this way, we also hope to attract even more women to investment banking and other M&A activities.
Concerning the content, we are learning that in addition to the classic focus areas of strategy, corporate finance and valuation, the importance of ESG, digitalization, data analytics as well as restructuring in the field of M&A is increasing. New job profiles are emerging that we would like to present on our channels in the future.
Due to the increasing demand for and from young professionals, we have decided together with partners to also allow those who are already in the first years of their careers to participate in the Career in M&A week. In this way, we can also provide young professionals with guidance once again on their career path.
In order to shorten the time to the next Career in M&A week, we will increasingly use our LinkedIn channel to present the above-mentioned topics supported by individual contributions and articles.
We are looking forward to meeting you at the Career in M&A week 2023 and of course online on LinkedIn or our Webpage.
